

Perhaps the question should not be whether there is any parnassa in running these groups. That is of course questionable because you can't make any money with it.
However, there are other benefits that are related to parnassa.
For example, people may be working at a job in which there is limited contact with others. It is important to be able to have a position in which you can lead and direct others during the course of your work just by taking frequent but brief breaks. This allows you to do your regular work more effectively.
No, this is not your livelihood but in a larger sense of the word it helps you provide your livelihood and to be more successful at it and possibly even to reduce the effects of burnout.
The professional groups in this series unquestionably help. I have no idea how a translator or a photographer or an editor or any other professional could do his work efficiently without the assistance of the groups.
The bottom line is quite clear. There really is no parnassa in running these groups. People run them for other reasons.
