Children and the Internet

Many people forbid their children from using the Internet. Others do not allow the Internet (or television) in their home, because of the negative influence of these technologies on children.

Those who make such restrictions in their homes are to be applauded. And, if the person who runs so many Jewish websites and forums is making this recommendation, then it may be wise for everybody to give it the proper thought!

This article relates to those who have made a decision to have Internet in their home.

It is important to set rules for using the Internet. The following options may be considered, and we welcome additional recommendations or suggestions:
