The Jewish Groups concept is very different from discussion groups or chat groups. It's based on information groups.
Information groups remain quiet until somebody needs information. They do not have constant action, discussion, chatter, chatting, talk, blabber or blather.
Some people may be confused by these groups since they do use the same formats and engines as discussion groups. However, we hope you will agree that our businesslike approach is superior after you get used to it.
Some people feel uncomfortable about information groups. They expect a constant chatter in the background, even though it may be ignored, like their television or radio. For those people, a quiet forum is disquieting.
For these reasons, it may take some time to get used to these information groups.
Having said that, let us point out that this series does feature some discussion groups. However, they are not our main focus or thrust.
