Each forum in Our Jewish Groups has its own section on this website, and each section includes an About page. The About page describes that group in great detail, and sometimes includes its history or some examples.
The Definition page in each section explains the meaning of the title. Sometimes the group has a name in a language other than English, in which case it is explained in English.
If you need only a brief understanding of the nature of any group, you can check the Introduction page for that section.
This website may have some Hebrew, Yiddish, or other words that are not familiar to you. If you don't understand a word, contact the moderator, explaining where you saw the unfamiliar word, and it will be added to this section.
