


Yiddishe Kop means a Jewish head, but it's intentionally used as a double ententre in the title for this group.
A Jewish intellectual might consider his brain or mind to be superior to those who are not Jewish, and he would call it a Yiddishe Kop – sometimes in a self-deprecating or jocular manner. The term is not used disparagingly.
Our forum borrowed this expression - with tongue firmly placed in cheek.
