What does the name of the group mean?

Yiddishe Kop means a Jewish head, but it's intentionally used as a double ententre in the title for this group.

A Jewish intellectual might consider his brain or mind to be superior to those who are not Jewish, and he would call it a Yiddishe Kop – sometimes in a self-deprecating or jocular manner. The term is not used disparagingly.

Our forum borrowed this expression - with tongue firmly placed in cheek.

Yiddish Kop is one of several groups that proudly benefit from a Yiddish name. An article about these groups is in progress.
