Yiddish performances should be posted to our Jewish Performances forum, and not to Yiddish Forum.
In the past, postings about Yiddish events would be posted on many groups, including Yiddish Forum, Jewish Arts, Jewish Writing, and Jewish Reviews. That's a shame, because many Yiddish issues did not get the publicity that they deserved.
The Jewish Performances group handles this problem. Everybody who is interested can find out about all of the Yiddish issues, and everybody who wants to post information has a single, efficient address.
Yiddish Forum includes only information about the Yiddish language, and it no longer includes postings about Yiddish events, shows, plays, theater performances, publications, and other such issues.
