It's a good idea to submit your question well in advance of the Parsha. Those who submit questions on Friday usually don't receive answers.
Also, keep in mind that the forum is moderated from Israel. That means that if you are living in the United States there's a differential of seven to ten hours before your time. In other words, a question which you send in ten hours before Shabbat in your region might not be able to be posted because it is already Shabbat in Israel. Even if you post it a reasonable amount of time before that you may not be giving the other subscirbers time to respond. Finally, the moderation terminates a reasonable amount of time before Shabbat starts, so that even if you do send it in a few hours before there still might not be enough time.
Think of Thursday as your deadline for submitting questions. That way you may be safe. And the earlier in the week that you send them in, the more of a chance that you will be getting a reasonable response.
In that way you will also be able to be read by the people who are in digest mode which means that they receive your question a day later.
