In the past the Jewish Parenting group dealt with all issues of parenting.
Jewish Parenthood was then created, in order to discuss issues relating to Jewish adoption and fertility.
The discussions on this group were indeed important, but it was correctly felt by many subscribers that these issues should not be discussed in public.
The Jewish Parenthood group was therefore closed down for some time in order to determine and re-evaluate its future. The present discussants are professionals rather than lay people.
