

True, the People of the Book refers to The Book - the Torah - but the Jewish love for books beyond a single volume is certainly a fact. We often have large libraries, and we need to find the best ways to maintain them:
As more and more people strive to increase their knowledge of Judaism, they search for better resources.
Some people may live far away from main Jewish centers. Others may want to access Jewish or religious Jewish texts at their leisure. Still others may want to do research or to become familiar with their heritage.
However, Jewish books have the following characteristics:
This makes it difficult to manage a Jewish home library. Our group helps people consult with each other in order to find out what is best for their own needs.
These libraries are not limited to books - they include any form of documentation or information.
Jewish Home Library also networks professional librarians in Yeshivot, Jewish schools, synagogues, and other Jewish institutions.
