  • Maintaining close ties with grandchildren who live far away
  • Sharing in family simchas when we can't be there
  • Dealing with different levels of Jewish observance between ourselves and our grandchildren
  • Helping our grandchildren face life's challenges and adversities
  • Involvement and interference with our children's role as parents
  • Sharing family traditions with children who don't want to feel old-fashioned
  • Minding our own business. Refraining from getting involved in our children's issues
  • Expectations from our Jewish grandchildren
  • Maintaining a good relationship with our grandchildren
  • Teaching children to deal with problems relating to aging parents
  • Ways of enjoying our grandchildren
