Jewish Events announces Jewish religious holidays as they occur, or specific events in the Jewish calendar, so that you can keep up with them.

Yes, you do have a Jewish calendar on your refrigerator, and you can always look up the dates. However, each of us needs a reminder from time to time about certain other things.

Will Rosh Chodesh occur on Wednesday or Thursday? Is this the 39th or the 40th day of the counting of Sfira? Is this the sixth or the seventh night of Chanukah?

As we go through our daily lives, we may unwittingly lose track of some important Jewish issues and events. After all, we are interested in maintaining our Jewish culture and heritage, but our working life and other activities take its toll. Sometimes we need little reminders to jog our memory.

Jewish Events will send you a reminder in your emailbox.

There is no discussion on the group. However, you are welcome to announce a Chassidishe Yartzeit or other special date. Send your announcement to [email protected], two to three days in advance of the actual event.
