Jewish Arts will not ask whether the artist is Jewish. However, the work itself must be Jewish if we are to discuss it on Jewish Arts.
We will not try to decipher ancient Jewish or Semitic inscriptions on Jewish Arts. We are artists, not experts in ancient languages.
In the past, postings about these gigs would be posted on many groups, including Yiddish Forum, Jewish Arts, Jewish Writing, and Jewish Reviews. However, with so many different groups trying to post performances, no gig got the publicity that it deserved.
The Jewish Performances group handled this problem. Everybody who is interested can find out about all of the performances at a single, efficient address.
Jewish Arts includes only information about the the arts themselves, and it no longer includes postings about specific events, shows, plays, theater performances, publications, and other such issues.
Please note that artists in Jewish Arts must relate to Jewish topics, issues, or themes. We will not ask whether the artist is Jewish, but the work itself must be Jewish if we are to discuss it on Jewish Arts.
We will not try to decipher ancient Jewish or Semitic inscriptions on Jewish Art. We are artists, not experts in the language.
