So, what exactly is FLOWE?  Basically, we are a writer's group.  We critique each other's work, motivate each other to keep writing, and generally support our fellow members in following The Dream to be published.  Some of us hope to make life-long careers out of it.  Others only desire the joy of finishing a book before they think further down the road.  We happily welcome both sorts of people.  Primarily, our members are twenty-somethings still getting used to pulling together all the strings of life, and as such we also readily accommodate busy schedules and frequent absences.

To keep our Subscribers on their toes, we run two yearly challenges - the NILE and its longer cousin, the GEM of the NILE.  We encourage our members to hold monthly challenges, and present bi-monthly brainstorming opportunities.  In the course of FLOWE, we have played with Round Robins, struggled through big word count goals, and created fictional FLOWE characters with which to romp about the FLOWE world.
