By Haruka
Great, I'm lost, Amara thought as she wandered around the streets of the unfamiliar town. She had told Haruka's father that she could find the way, but she was supposing at the time that she'd actually pay attention to where she was going. However, her mind had automatically begun going over everything she had learned, and before she knew it, she wasn't sure where she was.
"Hey, Haruka!"
She sighed inwardly. Will I have to forever respond to someone else's name? She wondered. Well, at least I can ask them directions.
The pair who approached her looked glad to see 'Haruka'. One was a tall redhead with a long thin ponytail that reminded her of Seiya's. The other was a muscular boy with pink hair that stood up straight like a bird's crest. "Hi!" he greeted. "How's it going? Are you okay?"
"I'm not Haruka," she said, wondering how many times she'd have to say that in the future around here. "My name is Amara."
The two of them stared at her. "The voice is different," observed the redhead. "It really isn't Haruka."
"But you must have met her sometime today," the pink-haired boy said to her. "You seem to know of her, at least."
"I just came from her house," Amara said. "I left in a hurry, though, and now I'm lost."
"My name is Hawk Eye and this is Taiki. We'll help you get home if you like. What street do you live on?"
Before long, the three of them were doubling back and taking the turn off that Amara had missed.
"I guess you must have a lot on your mind," Taiki said gently. "If it would help to talk it out, we're good listeners, and we'd like to be friends."
"I'm still trying to figure it all out," Amara admitted. "Haruka's parents say they're my parents, too - that they had a baby that supposedly died but now obviously didn't." She shook her head. "Maybe they're right. Probably they are, seeing how much she and I look alike. I didn't know what to say to any of them."
"What will you do if it turns out to be true?" Hawk Eye asked. "Do they want you to move in with them?"
"We didn't get that far," Amara said. "I just met them all about five minutes ago, I'm not agreeing to anything." She gave Taiki a sideways glance. "This may be a stupid question, but you don't know someone named Seiya, do you?"
"He's my brother," Taiki said in surprise. "You know him?"
"I met him this morning." Amara smiled. "He's a great kisser."
Taiki blinked. "He's what?"
"How would you know?" Hawk Eye asked, frowning at Amara.
"We liked each other right off and we kissed." Amara shrugged. "What's the big deal?"
"Seiya's dating my brother, Fish Eye."
"Oh," Amara said, nodding. "I should have guessed - Hawk Eye, Fish Eye. Haruka's girlfriend made a point of mentioning him."
Taiki and Hawk Eye exchanged looks of concern.
"Oh good, there's my house," Amara said in relief. "Hey, thanks for helping me find my way."
"You're welcome," Taiki said. "Are you going to be all right?"
"Probably. Maybe. Who knows?" She looked at Taiki and grinned. "Say hi to Seiya for me."
"Uh, sure," Taiki answered weakly.
"Bye." Amara jogged to her driveway and turned into it.
"Incredible, isn't it?" Taiki said. "They look exactly alike, but there are differences anyway."
"Fish Eye isn't going to like competing with a Haruka twin," Hawk Eye remarked. "Let's hope Amara's interest in Seiya is a passing one."
"I'm home!" Fish Eye slammed the front door behind him. "And I HATE Yaten Kou!"
"I'm gathering you didn't have a nice day at work?" Nuriko said, giving his irate son a brief hug. "That's too bad."
"Oh, it would have been fine except for Yaten lording it over me every two minutes," Fish Eye grumbled. "According to him, I can't do anything right."
"Well, you know that's not true, so just ignore him," Nuriko advised.
"I tried, but I still would have rather thrown him in the fryer."
"Hey, Fish Eye," greeted Ves Ves. "Bet you'll never guess who we met today."
The blue-haired boy studied the four grinning girls suspiciously. "Who?"
"Seiya's new girlfriend!" Palla Palla announced.
Fish Eye felt his stomach drop and his jaw along with it. "What?" he whispered.
"She's very sexy," Cere Cere said.
"Almost as sexy as Haruka," Jun Jun added.
"In fact, she looks just like Haruka!" Ves Ves said.
"What are you girls talking about?" Nuriko asked.
"We met Haruka's double - the one who nearly ran Zoisite down," Jun Jun said. "She was across the street with the family when we left."
"Seiya was there, too," Cere Cere pointed out. "And when we were leaving we heard her say she'd like to see him again. He told her to call him."
"I'll have to call Zoisite after things settle down," Nuriko said thoughtfully, then clapped his hands. "All right, girls, why don't you come with me and we'll make some cookies for tonight's dessert."
"Cookies!" All four girls lost interest in Fish Eye and charged into the kitchen. Nuriko patted Fish Eye's shoulder and followed them.
"Terrific." Fish Eye heaved a heavy sigh. "I just decided I really like Seiya and I've got a rival already. And one that looks like Haruka yet!" His eyes narrowed. "Well, if she thinks I'll just hand him over, she's got another think coming."
Yaten went into his house and shut the door. What a long day it had been, thanks to Fish Eye's incompetence. He suspected the Changechild only concentrated on doing a good job when Seiya was around to impress.
"Heyyy, Yaten!" The blonde suddenly felt himself being lifted off the ground and swung in a circle. "How's my pretty little boy?"
"Papa, put me down!" Yaten cried.
Da Cider placed him on his feet and hugged him. "I'm sorry, I just can't help myself. My kids are all so darned _cute_!"
Yaten smiled in spite of himself. His father was like an oversized kid, and life was never dull with him around.
"Hi sweetie," greeted his mother as she came over to kiss him. Her nose wrinkled. "Yuck, go take a bath. You smell like grease."
"I know." Yaten frowned. "Even though I work on the Tacoz side, the grease from the fryers goes everywhere."
"Your brothers are upstairs. It sounds like something important happened, but I'll let them tell you."
"They found Haruka's twin sister!" Da Cider announced with a grin. "Imagine that! Kunzite and Zoisite must be going crazy."
Apricot put her hands on her hips. "Da Cider! I just said that the boys should tell him!"
"They can fill in the details," he sniffed. "I was here first."
Yaten decided to slip away before he got caught in the middle of another fight. He found his brothers in Seiya's room, and from the looks on their faces, they were having a serious conversation. "Hi guys."
They both looked up at him. "Hey, Yaten," Seiya said. "Did Papa tell you what happened?"
"Yeah, he couldn't wait." Yaten began stripping off his uniform. "He said she was Haruka's twin, is that true?"
"Yeah, it's the old soap opera separated-at-birth story." Seiya laughed. "Can you believe that?"
"I guess she must look a lot like Haruka then."
"Enough that when she kissed Seiya, he thought it was Haruka herself," Taiki said mischievously.
Yaten stared at his dark-haired brother. "She _kissed_ you, Seiya?"
"Shocked the hell out of me, and not just because I thought it was Haruka," Seiya admitted, then gave a sheepish grin. "She's not exactly like Haruka, though."
"She can't be if she kissed _you_," Yaten replied, picking up Seiya's bathrobe. "I'm borrowing this - mine's in the wash."
"Sure," he answered absently, a dreamy half-smile on his face. "Her name is Amara. She looks exactly like Haruka, but she likes guys."
"Huh," Yaten smirked. "If you're that interested in her, you'd better hope she likes girls, too, or you'll end up with the same problem you've got with Fish Eye."
"He's right," Taiki told Seiya. "You'll have to tell Fish Eye about us soon. It isn't fair to keep it from him, and he might hear it from someone else first."
Seiya sighed, watching as Yaten slipped out of the last of his uniform, leaving him naked. His blonde brother tilted his head back, closing his eyes. His body seemed to shimmer, and a moment later Yaten's male form had shifted into that of a young female. She pulled Seiya's robe on, giving her black-haired sibling a significant look. Seiya's gaze went next to Taiki, who had also changed to a female form. With a sigh, Seiya resignedly followed suit, and looked down at her shapely body with a pout.
"Somehow I don't think Fish Eye is going to take this well," she murmured.
