1.Qb1-f1

  • If either Black Knight moves to where it can defend g2, (via Nf3-e1 or Nf3-h4 or Nh3-f4) then White's Knight captures the unmoved Knight, revealing mate with the Queen.
  • If Black makes any other move, then White replies 2. Qf1-g2#.
