1. Qb4+

(The Queen moved from a4 to b4, giving check.) Black must take one of the Knights with his King. White then delivers checkmate by moving his remaining Knight to e7!

1. ... Kxc6 to which White replies: 2. Ne7#

OR:

1. ... Kxd5 to which White replies: 2. Ne7#
