1982 Mercury Cougar XR-7
OK, I just had to put pictures out here of this because
I DID own it. For almost 2 whole weeks!! After I sold my Chevy
4x4, I needed wheels. I found this for $900 bucks and thought, "Why
not!". I then traded it off on a 1991 Volkswagon Jetta GL.
This Cougar had way too much as far as emissions crap! It had a 283
V-8 and Auto with Overdrive. Basically, just not my style!

I must however give credit were it is due.
This car road very nice. It had big, fluffy, comfortable seats and
the heater could have blown me out of the car (which is important when
you live in North Dakota!) The fact that it had 4 lug rims kinda
bummed me out because I have a set of Cragar SS 5-lug rims that may have
made it more likeable by me!! None the less, I am much happier with
the Volkswagon as a daily driver!!!
