Darling Chosen One by D. Morgan ********** A little bit of heaven Smiled at us The first time we saw Your precious face. Usually God decides which baby To send to a Mommy and Daddy, but He most Graciously allowed us to Choose you from all other Babies. We planned and dreamed Of you for a long time. Then Suddenly, one day, we found. You. You are our morning sun, Our evening star. Our Darling Chosen One.
Sydney Grace by Stephen Wilson (Fifth grade) ********** Sydney Grace Is in a better place The Lord took her away I know she is watching over me When I look up in the sky, The only cloud I see Is a cloud that looks like Sydney At least we know that Sydney is Not on oxygen tanks anymore We don't have to pray for her The Lord has her in His hands Healing her As we speak The Lord will take care of her

God's Garden Author Unknown ********** God looked around His garden And found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put His arms around you And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering He knew you were in pain He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered "Peace be thine." It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn't go alone For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
