| Soft blankets, baby socks, Bassinet, toy blocks. Pacifier, rocking chair, Tiny diapers, teddy bear. Soft curls cover your head, Reading stories before bed. Tiny fingers, tiny toes, Precious little button nose. Round belly, soft skin, Leaning over to kiss you again. Long lashes, baby sighs, Sweet smell, beautiful eyes. Baby baths, sleepless nights, Lullabies, soft good-nights. Keeping you safe from all harm, Holding you close in my arms. Doctor�s words, what can we do? Gone before we ever knew. Sad tears, shattered dreams, Surely this can�t be as it seems. Broken heart, sad good-byes, No little baby cries. Empty arms, empty womb, Precious baby gone too soon. Forever missed, forever loved, Safe in Jesus� arms above. |
