I just read your page and your story of your daughter telling you she was going to die, and it really, really got to me. My daughter asked me if she was dying just hours before she did, and it haunts me to this day. She was diagnosed with the "flu" and we had no idea she was so sick. I would have given anything to have held her in my arms after she died,I know how much that had to mean to you to be able to do that. My thoughts are with you. Judy

Dawn, I am sorry that you lost Destinee. I cannot imagine how hard it is to lose a child, although Joyce and I have looked that possibility in the face when Travis had his first brain surgery. Seeing Destinee's web page is so bittersweet. How many times her memories cross my mind and heart...I think of her in Heaven, running and playing, doing things she was unable to do here on earth. She is a treasure we have waiting on us in Heaven.
