Samantha brought endless love to our family. She had a special relationship with each one of us and we will forever treasure many happy memories. Obviously, caring for a very ill child required all of us to change our lives. It never felt like a hardship or burden and, of course, we would do it all (and more) again if only we could. We have not lost sight of the fact that our family was never alone in our battle. The many types of help and support we recieved from family, friends, neighbors, strangers, and medical personnel made things easier in many ways. We have more than a few happy memories that are a direct result of such help and support. Having fewer worries and less stress made it possible to focus our energies and really enjoy things when we could. We want you to know your kindness made an impact and it will not be forgotten.
