For Such A Time As This
And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: "Do not think in your heart that you will escape the king's palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows wether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
Esther 4:13-14
God will call us to do specific things at specific times, just as in the story of Esther. Everything works together in God's eternal plan and for His purposes.

And just like Esther, sometimes a messenger has to be firm and to the point with us. We must go when God calls. Otherwise, He will send someone else. He will accomplish what He has set out to do, just as the messenger in this story pointed out to Esther.

Esther was where she was supposed to be, when she was supposed to be there. Although she was initially hesitant, she chose to do what she was called to do. She took that a step further and had her people pray and fast with her in preparation. And as the story goes, her obedience AND dependence on God spared many from death. Her disobedience would have eventually lead to her own demise.

Are you avoiding God's call? He will call another if you refuse. Will you remain silent, when God's given you words to speak? Will you live in fear of answering the call, or will you play your designated role in God's kingdom?

For such a time as this.
