House of Jacob- this term reflected their lineage. It was one of several ways God would address His people that would get their attention. This term represented Jacob in his slavery. He was deceived by not getting what he was promised at first, and had to work longer to get what he wanted. He ended up blessed.
This represented breakthrough--Freedom, Victory. They understood that God was getting ready to take them to other places.
People of Israel- deliverance from struggles, bondage, emotionalism.
"We need a mentality change from Jacob to Israel."
