| Read Matthew Chapter 13; Psalm 51:17; Jeremiah 4:3-4 ~Each one of us is a sower and a planter. ~Prepare your heart daily with spiritual activity. Part of spiritual activity is accepting responsibility for our mistakes and doing things God's way. There needs to be repentance. ~When your heart is prepared, you are no longer driven by an appetite of the flesh. You will then be able to receive from God. ~A spiritually healthy heart willingly obeys God. ~Plow the ground to make soil ready for a forthcoming harvest. ~The closer you want to get to God, the more you will plow your hardened heart. ~Remember that you cannot prepare your heart to receive if you allow life's complications to distract you from Him. ~Before pouring into and witnessing to others, make sure your own heart has been prepared. Then pray beforehand that God ready soften the person's heart to receive His word. ~Those that prepared themselves daily were the ones who received the harvest. The harvest grows only on good soil. ~We often times wrongly blame where we are spiritually on our pastors and teachers. We each our responsible for preparing our own hearts. ~When we worship, we are a reflection of God...and He will point out those things in us that need to go. |
