Big Daddy's Homemade Buscuits
2 cups flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup milk

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine the flour, baking powser, salt and sugar. Cut in the shortening till the mixture resembles coarse meal. Gradually stir in milk till the dough pulls away from the side of the bowl.
Knead on floured surface 15-20 times. Pat or roll out to 1-inch thick. Cut with a large cutter or juice glass dipped in flour. Repeat till all dough is used. Brush off excess flour, and place biscuits onto an ungreased baking sheet.
