Bacon-Wrapped Smokies
1 lb. sliced bacon, cut into thirds
1 (14 oz) pkg. little smokies
3/4 cup brown sugar (or according to personal taste)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Refrigerate 2/3 of the bacon till needed. (It is easier to wrap when bacon has been chilled.) Wrap each smokie with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on large baking sheet. Sprinkle brown sugar generously over all. Bake for 40 minutes or till the sugar is bubbly. Place weiners in slow cooker and keep on low heat till ready to serve. Makes about 16 servings.
