Anxiety & Worry
We often think of great faith as something that happens spontaneously so that we can be used for a miracle or healing. However, the greatest faith of all, and the most effective, is to live day by day trusting Him. It is trusting Him so much that we look at every problem as an opportunity to see His work in our life. It is not worrying, but rather trusting and abiding in the peace of God that will crush anythnig that Satan tries to do to us. If the Lord created the world out of chaos, He can easily deal with any problem that we have.   -Rick Joyner

Anxiety is like putting on a heavy coat on a hot summer day. It weighs you down. It's difficult to move, and stifling to wear."   ~Joyce Meyer

I was regretting the past and fearing the future. Suddenly God was speaking: "My name is I am." I waited and God continued: "When you live in the past, with its mistakes and regrets, it is hard, I am not there. My name is not I was. When you live in the future, with its problems and fears, it is hard. I am not there. My name is not I will be. When you live in this moment, it is not hard. I am here. My name is I AM."   - Helen Mellincost

Worry, on the other hand, is the opposite of trust. Worry steals our peace, wears us out physically and can even make us sick. If we are worrying, we are not fully trusting God, and we'll never be able to experience His peace.   ~Joyce Meyer

Anything big enough to occupy our minds is big enough to hang a prayer on.
- George McDonald

Get up every day, love God and do your best. He will take care of the rest.   -Joyce Meyer

Neither go back in fear and misgiving to the past, nor in anxiety and forecasting to the future, but lie quiet under His hand, having no will but His.   -H.E. Manning

Some people feel guilty about their anxieties and regard them as a defect of faith but they are afflictions, not sins. Like all afflictions, they are, if we can so take them, our share in the passion of Christ.   ~C.S. Lewis

Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength.
-Corrie Ten Boom

Since Jesus invites us to cast all our care and worries on Him, why do so many of us refuse to let go? Apparently, we are not yet fed up with being miserable.  ~Joyce Meyer

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.   ~Philippians 4:6-7

There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, "Thy will be done," and those to whom God says, "All right, then, have it your way."   ~C.S. Lewis

"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is life not more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?"
"Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O Ye of little faith? Therefore, do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear? For all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." ~Jesus Christ (Matthew 6:25-34)
