Subject: Unconditional Love From: f c chan

Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. ( Proverbs 24 :3&4) She loved visiting her friends. Their whole family was wonderful. It was a joy to enter a place where there was so much love and affection. They spoke to one another with respect, and they showed kindness beyond belief. Even when the girls did something wrong, they were treated with love and care. She wished she could live in a home like that , and she swore that when she was a parent, she would try to be as fair and loving as her friends' parents were. Families should be havens of love and support. We should learn what love is all about from our families. We should also learn what it means to truly love others, whether they deserve it all the time or not. Unconditional love means love which doesn't ask anything in return. Christians are called upon to love all people, regardless of whether they are worthy of it. This is the love which God gives to each one of us, and it is a love that He hopes we will use in our relationships here on earth. A house which is built upon kindness and understanding is a fortress against all the evil in the world. A good home is a blessing beyond words. Establish a home in true love, and its benefits will last forever. Prayer: Teach me what it means to love unselfishly, dear God. Help me to judge no one, and to love everyone that I am able to. Forgive me when I am unloving, and fill me with Your spirit, that I might grow in Your ways. Amen. From : Wisdom from the PROVERBS -- Daily Thoughts and Mediations
