Ever heard the story of the Princess and the Pea? Well, want to know the TRUE story! In a small kingdom there is a law the no one may get married until the prince is married. Only one little problem� the Queen doesn't want to loss her little baby boy and set an impassable test for every princess coming to try and win her son's hand. But when one of the kingdom's knights and ladies-in- waiting discover that a little visitor is on the way, they grow desperate to find a princess that can pass the queen's test. And when they bring the dopey Princess Winnifred into there little humble kingdom� who knows what's going to happen!

Sir Harry - m - early to mid 20's - Large role One of the top knights in the kingdom. She is in love with Lady Larken who is going to have his baby. He sets off to find the princess that will pass the test so he and Larken can be married.

- " No, you'll stay here!"
-(Out of breath) "I am please to announcce her majesty the Princess Winnifred."
- "Larken! What are you doing with that man?!"
Sir Luce - m - early to mid 20's - Small role Another knight.

-"How's it going Harry old boy?"
Mabelle - f - late teens to early 20's - Small role (Only in two scenes) She is a French girl that Harry uses to make Larken jealous of him. She only specks one word of English

-(excited) "Oh, yes!"
King Septimus - m - Mid to late 40's - Large role, but only has lines in last scene. The mute king of the kingdom that was cursed long ago by a witch. He will only talk again when "The mouse devours the hawk." He has no lines till the last scene of the Radio Play.
- "And I'VE got a lot to say!"
Knights - m - Ranging from late teens to late 20's - Small roles I'm going to need a bunch of lord and knights for various scenes and background to for other scenes. Every one will have at least one line to themselves. I'm not sure how many I will need yet. 4 OPEN! For the audition please do any ONE of the following three lines, your pick.

-"We had to get a rope and pull her out.."
-"She was determined to get here as soonn as possible."
-"Lower the drawbridge!"
