So this weekend Amy took me to an overnight Venture Crew Halloween Party.  I had a great time but at 3 in the morning we decided to watch Billy Jack, the movie that debuted the song One Tin Soldier.  (Disclaimer: everything I say from here on is sarcasm)  It was THE best movie I have ever seen!  Tom Laughlin wrote AND starred in it.  He is a genius.  The acting was incredible.  It is the story of a hippie peace loving school that is protected by a half Indian, Green Beret, karate trained man named Billy Jack.  All of the people at the school are peaceful, but sometimes Billy Jack just loses control.  But it's always for good, to defend the poor and meek.  Billy Jack is my new hero.  A hero everybody should look up to!  And he is so good looking!  His style is fantastic.  I mean, look at that Indian bead/pilgrim hat.  Who wouldn't want one of those?  He's such a trend setter.  He has everything a girl could want.  I am jealous of his beautiful wife Delores (who played Jean in the movie).  Here are some of Billy Jack's memorable quotes:

"You are a liar."
"I try, I really try...but when I see this girl of such a beautiful spirit suffer this indignity...I just go BERSERK!"
"Now, which is it gonna be: drive your car in the lake or get a dislocated elbow?"
"...look what you've done, you crazy nut!" (when the a girl tells him she can't get up and shows that she got shot)

Tell me that doesn't just give you chills, the writing is amazing.  Tom Laughlin is the smartest man alive.  Too bad he's almost not alive.  Yes, he's a little old for me, but he'll only be my boyfriend for a week.  If only I lived 50 years ago.  *sigh*

Okay, I'm ending the disclaimer.  Really, this is the dumbest waste of time movie ever BUT it's really fun to laugh at and make fun of!  Yay Tom Laughlin!
