   Okay, before you say anything, just hear me out.  Oh my gosh.  Sunday night.  Me.  The TV.  Exteme excitement.  Guess why.  SIMON AND GARFUNKEL PERFORMED TOGETHER!!!  For those of you that don't know very much about this duo, they broke up in 1970.  They haven't performed together since 1993.  I LOVE them.  It was histeria.  I almost missed it too!  They opened up the Grammy's and I flipped to the right channel JUST in time and of course immediately dived at my cell phone to call my mom to tell her to put it on.  They were the recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award this year.  Boy do they deserve it.  If you have never listened to Simon and Garfunkel, you don't know what you're missing.  And so of course, when I saw them TOGETHER, I just had to put them up TOGETHER!
     Me and my oldies, boy...I love 'em.  But Simon and Garfunkel have been at the top of my list since my mom really introduced me to them.  I've been listening to oldies since I was little, but it wasn't until I started listening to my mom's old records that I actually realized who sang the songs.  They started out as Tom and Jerry and they were really clean cut and young looking.  They actually had a hit!  But, they decided that image didn't work so they changed and decided to sing under their own names.
     Well ladies, they're both married, and, well, kind of old... but oh well, this week they are BOTH mine.  *wink wink*  Anywho, enjoy the pictures, get a CD, groove to the music!
