Did you know that an 80-lb piece of Rivendell (a place in Lord of the Rings) fell on his head? It did, and he was rushed to the hospital unconscious. The doctor apparently told him he was okay and he had a very large brain. He was proud of that.
Back when Sean Astin was young he was a teen heart throb (or so I'm told because I wasn't born yet...). Carrie and I decided that we like him best in the "post weight gain" years. You've got to love a beefy man. Oh yeah, and he has great arms. That doesn't hurt either.
