   John Edwards was the obvious choice for boyfriend this week.  I mean, I'm just borrowing him from Elizabeth for the inauguration of that horrid man who shall not be named on my website.  It doesn't hurt that he's had some great accomplishments in his life as both a senator and a lawyer, is wealthy, and was voted the sexiest politician.  I wish John was going to be the one being sworn in as vice president, not that other horrid man who also shall not be named.  My background is even crying for our country.
     For those of you that have been living under a rock for the past year, John was a candidate in the primary for president but eventually John Kerry won the nomination and picked John Edwards for his vice president.  I got to meet John Kerry and did a lot of phone banking for the two of them and it feels good that we won at least Pennsylvania.  I think it's really funny that his name is really Johnny.  It's so hick, it's great.  In his life he really accomplished a lot and fought for what he wanted.  He was the first person in his family to go to college and I really respect that especially since my mom was the first one to graduate from college in her family.
     Anyway, John Edwards and John Kerry would be going to the White House if people knew what was best but I guess I'll just have to wait.  If anybody tries to tell me that he isn't patriotic or is a bad person because he's a democrat I'll kick them.  Hard.  At least for now I have John as my boyfriend.
