| I first "met" Hal Sparks when I was in high school. My friends Bree and Amy had a strange obsession with gay guys so they started watching Queer As Folk. Since we hung out a lot, it became something I watched too. One day we had a discussion about which of the guys we liked best. My favorite was the character of Michael played by Hal Sparks (even though I didn't know that was his name until recently). I had kind of forgotten about Hal since I hadn't watched Queer As Folk since about two years ago. I was watching I Love the 80s on VH1 while I was sick a couple weeks ago and who should I see but Hal Sparks! I never knew he was a comedian but he's hilarious! He absolutely makes the show. I had just assumed that since he played a gay guy on a VERY risque show that he probably was gay in real life too. But...I looked all over the place and everything I found was that he's straight. Hal is cute and funny and has never had an alcoholic drink in his life. Very interesting. *wink wink nudge nudge* You should watch the I Love the 80s and I Love the 80s Strikes Back shows.
