Um...so maybe my Boy Friend of the Week isn't exactly what you expected to see...but Cori is the closest to a boyfriend I have because she is my wife.  I'm her wife #6...but I'm her favorite heterosexual wife.  We even had a wedding in front of the menora in Monmouth Mall which was done by our gay Indian priest, Amir.  Besides, she likes girls just like most boys do.  Therefore she is a perfect candidate for my boy friend.  Did I trick you on the front page with her boy picture?
Cori and I met almost 6 years ago.  Gosh, that's a scary thought.  She's been one my best friends throughout high school and college (well except when she disappeared for a little while) and I just love her to death.  She's spunky and crazy which makes her so interesting to be with but she's also really understanding and thoughtful.  (Cori, are you blushing yet?)  When I first met her she was wild and I was very sweet and innocent but I think that we've met somewhere in the middle.  She's been a really big influence on who I have become.  She won't let me just sit by, she's always encouraging me to get out and do things and to speak up for what I believe in.  These are things she is very much about.
Cori is very creative and very random.  She started a sock puppet kick several years ago but I think Dirty Harry, this puppet, is one of her favorites because she brings him many places.  He is a dirty homeless puppet.
I would also tell you about her family but I don't want to scare you off since you're just meeting her.  They are a very fun bunch in that household.
Cori is very unique.  In the picture above she is dressed like a pirate sometime around Talk Like A Pirate Day where she walked around with pirate costume getting people to dress up so she could take pictures of them.  She does what she wants to do because they are right for her, not because she follows the crowd.  Some of my earliest memories of her involved her skipping through the hallways of High Tech in green tights blowing pixie dust on people and asking them how they were doing.
I am so proud of who she has become and she is constantly impressing me with her accomplishments.  She's my boy friend of this week because I couldn't imagine having anybody better... they would have a lot to live up to.
This is Cori being totally uncharacteristic dressed as a cheerleader.
