CALL FOR ENTRY:" Otterville Presents... 5th Annual Juried Art Exhibition and Sale
Excellent opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their original art and fine crafts in a picturesque outdoor setting at Woodlawn Community Centre, Otterville (10km east of Tillsonburg, 20km south of Woodstock) Saturday and Sunday June 25-26, 2005 10 am to 5 pm Eligible media: original art (oil, acrylic, watercolour, works on paper, mixed media), photography, 3 dimensional work, pottery, woodworking, jewellery, fine craft

Information for Exhibitors

There will be limited space available under large tents, however vendors are encouraged to supply their own tent/canopy and display stands.
Space is approximately 15' x 15'for those with their own tents and approximately 10' x 10' under the larger tents.
All exhibition spaces are on grass.
Tables will be available. Please reserve.
Coffee, muffins and lunch will be provided for all vendors. There will also be lunches available to be purchased by patrons.

Registration Fee

10' x 10' space under large tents $110.00
All other spaces $75.00

Refunds

This is an outdoor show. In the event of poor weather applicants must make their own shelter provisions. There will be no refunds issued.

Entry Procedure

Complete the attached entry form and mail it with five clear photographs of your work. The exhibition fee must accompany the entry form. Please include a stamped and self-addressed envelope for return of photos.  Please note that only the type of work juried will be allowed to be exhibited.  You may submit more than one medium for jurying.  Example : If a vendor submits 5 photos of pottery and they are accepted, he will only be allowed to exhibit pottery.  If a vendor submits 5 photos of pottery and 5 photos of oil paintings, both created by same person, and if both are accepted, he may exhibit both pottery and oil paintings.

Entry Deadline

All entries must be received by April 15, 2005
Applicants will be notified of a decision by April 30, 2005.

Conditions

Exhibitors must agree to be present at the show for the entire day. The event is advertised as an "exhibition and sale of original art", however artists may display a number of reproductions up to 20% of the number of original works on display at any time during the showing day. For example, if the artist has 20 original works on display, 4 commercial reproductions may be shown as well.

Exhibitors Setup/Takedown

Exhibitors must arrive between 7:30 and 9:00 am and be set-up by 10 am. Exhibitors must not begin to pack-up before 5 pm.

Selling

Exhibitors are responsible for their own sales and tax collection.

Parking

Vendors will not be allowed to park by their booth. Vehicles must be removed from show area after being unloaded. Parking will be provided within close proximity.

Advertising
This will be the 5th year for Otterville Presents... In the past, there have been over 700 people who attended the event each year. Flyers will be provided to exhibitors for distribution in their area. Other advertising will include radio, television, newspapers, and posters.

Otterville Presents... is sponsored by South Norwich Historical Society. There will be a number of historical sites open and visitors will be able to capture a glimpse of historic Otterville.
