Spencer- Vancouver, Washington Serving Size : 48 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : new recipe Regular Sweet Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups flour -- plus 1/4 cup 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup butter -- or margarine, softened 'til almost melted 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips -- 2 cups 2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts, optional 1. Preheat oven to 375°. 2. Sift the flour with the baking soda and salt. Add the sugar, eggs, vanilla, and butter or margarine, and beat with a wooden spoon until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. 3.
