NEW PLATES: New plates added. There has been some increase in prostitution lately, with several new ones working the area. We are out taking licence numbers!
OLD PLATES: There are now so many plates posted here that we have two pages of old plate listings (prior to July 15, 2000, and between July 15, 2000 and Dec. 31, 2000). The can be reached via links on the Cars page, where the newer listings are found.
PROSTITUTION REPORT: One of the community associations in this area has produced a report on the effects of street-level prostitution, as reported in the press. It can be found at http://hintonburg.com/png.pdf .
REPEAT CUSTOMERS: Some cars keep coming back: A silver 300-series Chevy (ARY* 20*) has been here twice. A black Thunderbird (25* PR*) has been here twice and picked up prostitutes; the last time, he picked up two. A black Mazda truck with licence plate 29*2E* has been here three times. The first time he picked up a prostitute, the next two times he was cruising.
WE WILL SEE JOHNS WHO COME HERE: To anyone who thinks they might come here to pick up prostitutes and can "beat the odds" or avoid being spotted, remember: You are in an easily-spotted car. We are out all times of day. You have to stop in a visible spot where a prostitute has been soliciting, usually for a while. We, however, will be on foot, in a car, on a bike, walking a dog, in a store, in our business or in our homes and see you well. Next time you come by, look at all the people who live and work here, and look at all the windows!
USED CONDOMS continue to be found where children play in our community. We will be watching the spots where these are being found. To the Johns: If we see you throw one on the ground, this will be noted next to your listing on this site. By the way, the prevalence of condoms tells us where to watch. If you leave your condoms at your "regular location," we'll more likely to be watching for you the next time!
