Part 1
Katie Atwood sat in the Orlando airport waiting for her best friend to arrive when her cell phone rang.
“Hello,” Katie asked.

“Hey Loser,” her best friend Jake said.

“Where are you,” Katie asked.

“Sorry traffic,” Jacob said.

“Yea sure when are you going to get here,” Katie asked.

“A few minutes but you will have to stay a little longer after we get there,” Jacob said as they pulled into the parking lot.

“Why,” Katie whined.

“One of Erik’s friends is coming in at 12:30 so you won’t have to stay that long,” Jacob explained.
“Ok whatever,” Katie said.

“Well I will be there in a minute so don’t move,” Jacob said before hanging his phone up.

“Ok see you soon,” Katie laughed. A few minutes later Katie stood up as she saw Jake walking towards her.

“Hey,” Katie said as they embraced each other in a hug.

“Where are the rest of the guys,” Katie asked as she noticed Ashley standing next to Jake.

“Went to go get Erik’s friend,” Jake said as he picked up her bags.

“We are going to meet them at baggage claim,” Ashley said.

“Dude I forgot you were there,” Jacob laughed.

“Hey Ashley,” Katie said.

“I think we should go down to baggage claim,” Katie said. The three walked to the baggage claim and stood for at least ten minutes until they heard Dan laughing.

“That laugh would belong to Dan,” Jacob smirked. Soon they saw Dan and Trevor walking towards them.

“Hey where’s Erik and his friend,” Jake asked.

“Well we lost Erik awhile back because he went into a store so we left him and his friend is waiting for her bags, Trevor explained. Out of the corner of his eye Dan saw Erik sneak up on his friend and scare her.

“Erik I hate you,” the girl walking with Erik said as they walked to the guys.

“Hey Erik,“ Katie said.

“Hey Katie,” Erik said hugging her.

“Ok guys this is my best friend Nicole,” Erik said.

“Hey I know Dan and Trevor who are you guys,” Nicole asked.

“Oh yea I forgot to tell you that is Ashley, Jacob, and Jacob’s best friend Katie,” Erik said.

“Hey where are you from,” Nicole asked Katie as they started walking out of the airport.

“San Diego you,” Katie said.

“New York City,” Nicole said.

“I’ve always wanted to go to New York City but never had enough money to go. Have you ever been to California,” Katie asked.

“Yea my parents had a cabin up in Northern California. We use to go there every winter,” Nicole explained as they got to the car. They loaded all their bags into the trunk and left. Nicole sat in between Erik and Trevor. Katie sat next to Jake and Dan was driving so Ashley was in the passenger seat.

“I’m sorry to say this but Nicole looks like a snob,” Katie whispered into Jake’s ear.

“I bet she thinks the same about you,” Jacob joked.

“Ha Ha” Katie said as they pulled into the driveway and got out.

“Ok well before you two came we flipped a coin to see who would sleep in the bed under Jake’s because Erik and Jake share a room and Nicole won,” Trevor said.

“Cool,” Nicole said as Erik got her bags.

“Um… Katie you will stay in the guest bedroom,” Jacob said. By the time Katie and Jake got inside Nicole and Erik were playing a video game.

“Jake I think we need to talk,” Katie said.

Part 2
“What’s wrong,” Jacob asked as they sat by the pool.

“I kind of feel like the invisible person beside for you paying attention to me. I remember the first time I came here I was the center of attention but now little Miss New York City model wannabe is getting all the spotlight,” Katie said.

“Whoa I never knew you demanded so much attention,” Jacob said.

“I’m just scared she will steal my best friend,” Katie said.

“Don’t worry about it,” Jacob said as he stood up and hugged her. They walked back to the living room and sat down on the sofa.

“Erik just give it up how many times do I have to beat you,” Nicole said.

“How long have you two known each other,” Katie asked.

“All of our lives,” Erik answered turning the game off.

“You guys,” Nicole asked sitting on the sofa.

“Since fifth grade,” Jacob said.

“Erik are there any good clubs here,” Nicole asked.

“Um… yea there is this one called Hype it is crazy,” Erik said.

“Cool can we go tonight,” Nicole asked.

“Yea if you want to,” Erik said.

“I guess we will leave at ten then so we will get there before the crowds come,” Erik stated.

“K,” Nicole said as she stood up and left the room.

Later on that night Jacob and Erik sat in the living room waiting for everybody to be done getting ready.

“I don’t think Nicole and Katie like each other,” Erik said as Nicole came down the stairs.

“Hey,” Nicole said as Katie came down the stairs. The rest of the guys came out of their rooms.

“I guess we can go now,” Erik said as he got up and walked out of the door. Everybody left and got into the van. Once they got to the club Nicole and Erik disappeared in the crowd of dancing people while everybody else found a table. Jacob’s eyes scanned the club until he saw Nicole leaning up against a wall while Erik was talking to her.

Part 3
“I think Katie is jealous that you are getting a lot of attention from other guys,” Erik said.
“What can I say,” Nicole laughed.

“Come on lets go to the table,” Erik smiled. They walked over to the table and when they got there Trevor and Ashley left. Nicole sat down next to Jacob and Erik sat across from her. Erik saw Katie glare at Nicole. There was a weird silence between everybody.

“I can’t take this anymore,” Nicole said.

“Anybody want to dance,” Nicole asked as one of her favorite songs came on.

“I will,” Jacob said. Nicole stood up and took his hand and walked to the dance floor.

“Don’t worry about it. You will always be my best friend. Yeah right Jake,” Katie mumbled under her breath as she watched Jake and Nicole dancing. Katie felt tears fall down her face as her eyes were glued on Nicole and Jake dancing.

“What’s wrong,“ Erik asked following where her eyes were looking.

“oh I see,” Erik said.

“I came here to tell Jake that lately I have seen him more than a friend and now she took him away from me,” Katie said as more tears fell down her face.

“Gosh Katie. I’m so sorry,” Erik said.

“You don’t know how it feels when you like somebody but you can’t have them,” Katie said.

“Um… Actually I do I care so much about Nicole and I was hoping this trip might change our relationship but I guess not now,” Erik said.

“Oh my gosh I ‘m so sorry,” Katie said wiping her tears away.

“I bet you anything that if I would have told her my feelings she would have said the same thing she always does,” Erik said.

Part 4
“What do you mean,” Katie asked.

“Nicole and I had a relationship for about a year and half but we decided we should just be friends. I think a week before I moved to Florida I told Nicole how I still had feelings for her but at the time she had a boyfriend so she told how she likes us just being friends. I just can’t really stop myself from liking her. I have tried to but nothing works,” Erik said as a tear rolled down his cheek. Erik looked around the room and didn’t see Nicole anywhere. He looked over at the bar and saw Jacob flirting with some girl.

Outside Nicole sat on the curb thinking to herself ‘what I m I doing.’ She quickly wiped her tears away when she heard somebody walking towards her.

“You ok,” Ashley asked her as he sat down next to her.

“I think so. Right now I really don’t know,” Nicole sighed.

“You know Erik cares a lot about you,” Ashley said.

“I know. I care about him too,” Nicole said.

“In my humble opinion I think you should tell him,” Ashley said.

“I know but I don’t know how,” Nicole confessed. Before Ashley could say anymore Jake came out looking for Nicole.

“hey Erik is looking for you,” Jake said as he walked towards them.

“Ok,” Nicole said walking towards the entrance of the club. Nicole slowly walked into the club and looked at the table but no one was there. She walked to the bar and ordered a drink. Erik was leaning up against the wall when he saw Nicole standing at the bar. He walked up to her.

“You look like you have a lot on your mind,” Erik said making Nicole jump at his voice.

“Yeah,” Nicole said turning around to face him.

“Have you been crying,” Erik asked.

“Yeah,” Nicole said.

“Your too cute to be crying,” Erik said.

“You always say that,” Nicole sighed.

“I know and it is true,“ Erik said.

“Can you take me back to the house,” Nicole asked Erik.

‘Yea sure,” Erik said as he took Nicole’s hand led her through the club to the door. Once they got outside to go to the car they ran into Ashley.

“Hey Ash, Nicole doesn’t want to stay at the club anymore can you come with us so you can bring the car back so the others won’t be stranded here,” Erik asked.

“Yea sure,” Ashley said as he followed them to the car. The only sound they heard during the ride back was the radio. Once they got to the house.

“Thanks Ash,” Erik said.

“No prob,” Ashley said.

“See you later,” Ashley said as he pulled out of the driveway. Nicole walked into the house and sat down on the sofa.

“What’s wrong? The last time I saw you like this was when what’s his face broke up with you,” Erik said.

“You mean Josh. He broke up with me the day you left,” Nicole said as she played with her hair.

“Oh yeah I forgot about that. Nicole you know how much I care about you and don’t you ever forget that,” Erik said as he got on hi knees in front of her. Nicole looked into his eyes and the next thing they knew they were kissing. They pulled away from the kiss and just looked into each others eyes.

“Erik,” Nicole said almost in a whisper.

“Yea,” Erik asked.

“I love you,” Nicole said. Erik looked at her with bewildered eyes.

“I care about you too but my mind is focused on my career,” Erik said.

“So in other words I love you came too late. I’m sorry Nicole,” Erik said as he saw a tear fall down her face.
