Chapter 1
~One Year Later~
"Oh my gosh you guys. You don't understand! This girl was SO beautiful," Jacob said.

All the members of O-Town were at the Underwood Complex, Jacob's huge home in California. Jacob had been raving about a girl he had seen at some club the night before.

"Jacob, she could be the biggest bitch you've ever met! You didn't even talk to her!" Sky, always the agnostic one, pointed out.

Sky was Erik's current girlfriend of two months. They had met at an afterparty in New York. Erik was instantly drawn to her because she was Puerto Rican and Italian, just like him.

"No way," Jacob protested. "This girl totally blew me away. I'm on a mission to find her."

"And all you know about her is that she has long, curly brown hair, green eyes, she's thin, and looks to be about 5'6"?" Trevor asked.

Jacob nodded.

Trevor started laughing. "Good luck finding her! It's gonna be slightly difficult!"

Jacob brushed his comment off, waving his hand in dismissal. "I will find her! Her and I are destined to be together," Jacob said determined.

Erik rolled his eyes. "You're so sure about this, huh? I never knew you as the romantic type Jake!" Erik said.

Jacob shrugged. "I guess she just does that to me. When you're in love, everything changes."

"Love?" Dan exclaimed. "You don't even know her!"

"I think it's cute," Ashley said. He sighed. "I wish I could find someone that did that to me."

"Ashley, it's not the end of the world just because you don't have a girlfriend. Just chill. One will come to you eventually," Erik said.

"Oh leave him alone sweetie. He's just getting lonely," Sky said.

Ashley nodded. "Yeah. It's not easy seeing you two together."

"We're sorry Ash, but he's so cute! He deserves someone!" Sky said, holding onto Erik's chin and moving his head around.

Everyone laughed at Erik's facial expression. They really were a cute couple.

"Hey Ash - don't you have a hot date tonight?" Trevor asked.

"Yeah. Her name is Jordan," Ashley replied.

Dan started laughing. When asked what was so funny, he replied, "You have the girl's name, and she has the boy's name!"

"Oh shut up!" Ashley laughed. "Dissin my name," he said, shaking his head.

"I wish I had a date with that girl tonight," Jacob said wistfully.

Everyone groaned.

"Holy sh*t!" Stacey said, awaking with a start. She was covered in sweat. She rubbed her head crying. She glanced at the clock. It was time for a meeting with her psychiatrist.

She jumped out of bed and took a cold shower. As the water trailed down her body she tried to get the mental image left from the dream out of her head.

Stacey got out of the shower, quickly dried off and put on some clothes. As she did her hair and make-up she punched the wall. "God! It's been a year! Why can't I get over this already?" she moaned.

She finally left her house and ran the block to her psychiatrist's office. She took a seat in the waiting room. Her eyes shifted around, taking in the familiar scene around her. The baby blue walls calmed her. As did her psychiatrist. She actually enjoyed her weekly visits.

The voice snapped her out of her thoughts. "Stacey Nicole James, please," it said.

She got up and walked back to her psychiatrist's office. "Dr. Stepahnie Bradl" the door read.

"Hey Stacey," Stephanie greeted her warmly.

"Hey Stephanie!" Stacey replied. They were on a first name basis. Stephanie felt that it made her patients more comfortable.

"How have you been?" Stephanie asked, starting the session.

"Awful," Stacey admitted. "I just had a dream."

"Would you like to talk about it?" Stephanie asked.

Stacey nodded. "It's that same dream. Where the baby is crying for me then it starts to break apart and it's yelling and screaming my name. Then it disappears."

"Yes, well we know that a lot of women who have abortions often regret it," Stephanie said.

"Yeah, yeah. We've been through all this before. I'm just so sick of this. I wish I could get past this stage of life. I mean, it's literally haunting me," Stacey said.

"Stacey," Stephanie began. "Let me ask you something... you're a beautiful, intelligent, young woman. Why haven't you started dating since Erik? It's been a year."

Stacey sighed. "I love him so much. I don't think I could ever let myself get hurt again."

"Well, the more I think about it, I realize you lost 2 important things that day. I believe that baby in your reoccuring dream does not only represent the baby you lost, but also it represents you. Part of you died when Erik left you, and that baby - disguised as you - is pleading for you to love again. I think once you find love again, it'll replace that emptiness and take away your nightmares," Stephanie explained.

Stacey nodded thoughtfully. She had never even thought of that possibility.

"In the meantime, I'm gonna change your prescription, and I'm gonna boost up those sleeping pills you've been taking," Stephanie said.

"Am I really not making any progress?" Stacey asked depressed.

"I'm afraid you're getting worse," Stephanie said sympathetically. "You need to go out with some friends and have fun. It'll make you feel better."

"What friends?" Stacey asked miserably. She had shun them all away after she had the abortion. She never knew life could be so lonely.

Chapter 2
"Hey Jordan!" Ashley greeted his date warmly.

"Hey Ash!" Jordan replied. "Do you want to come in a second? I'm not quite ready."

Ashley rolled his eyes as he watched her dash upstairs. Girls were never on time.

Ashley looked around Jordan's house. It was very nice. 'Probably a spoiled rich kid,' he thought. 'Don't be so cynical! Give her a chance!' Ashley scolded himself. No wonder he couldn't find a girl that made him happy. He was always judging before he got to know the girl.

He gazed out the back window. He saw the ocean in the distance. He made a mental note to bring her back to the beach if things went well.

"Ready?" Jordan asked, appearing beside him. Ashley's breath caught in his throat as he took in her appearance. Her blue shirt made her blue eyes with gold around the rim stand out. Her chin-length blonde hair fell neatly in place. Her tall frame (5'8" to be exact) showed off her tanned body.

"You look amazing!" Ashley complimented her.

"Thank you," she replied smiling. She was used to the compliments, being so pretty and all, and she loved them.

"Let's go," Ashley said, linking his arm with hers.

"So where are we going?" Jordan asked, her eyes twinkling with excitement.

"Call me boring, but I was thinking maybe dinner, then just sort of taking it from there," Ashley said.

"That sounds great. I'm starved," Jordan replied. She took her hand in his. "If you want, we can just walk to that restaurant down on the beach. It has really great seafood."

Ashley agreed.

They made small talk the whole time. Ashley learned she was an only child that had lived a very boring childhood. He also discovered that this girl
was hilarious.

"You are so funny!" Ashley said, thinking out loud.

"Aw thanks! That makes me feel good," Jordan said good-naturedly. "I'm all about making people laugh!"

"Yeah. I would be too. It's just that - I'm not very funny!" Ashley said.

Jordan laughed. "Well you were funny just now!"

"I have my moments," Ashley replied.

"I'm sure you do," Jordan said flirtatiously.

Ashley cleared his throat. "Well, hey, I have a very early tour rehearsal in the morning. I'd hate to end the date short though because I'm having a great time. How about a quick walk on the beach and then we call it a night?" he asked.

"Sure!" Jordan said, a little disappointed, but glad he wanted to spend a little extra time with her.

They walked on the beach, barefoot, hand in hand. The moon shone down causing a romantic glow on the beach. "It's so beautiful out here at night," Jordan said.

"It sure is," Ashley agreed. "You know, you're very beautiful at night as well. I'd like to see you sometime during the day as well to compare."

Jordan smiled, full of confidence. "Well Ashley Angel, if you're asking me out on another date for sometime, I accept," she said. She then gently pulled his head down so their lips met.

Ashley was a little surprised at first by her boldness, but he gladly responded.

When they pulled apart Ashley smiled. "Well Miss Chase, I will give you a call when my schedule is a little less hectic and maybe we'll go out again," he said.

Jordan giggled, "Good night Mr. Angel."

"Oh dayum! That girl is fine!" Dan said to Jacob. They were at a club, along with Trevor, Erik, and Sky. Jacob was searching for his mystery girl, but to no avail.

"That's not her," Jacob sighed.

"Good!" Dan said. "That means I can go chat her up!"

Dan stolled over to the bright blue eyed babe with the chin length honey brown hair. "Hey beautiful," Dan flirted, trying to be confident - trying is the key word there.

"Why hello," she drawled.

Dan felt himself harden. This girl had a sexy body with a sexy voice. He mentally congradulated himself on such a steallar find.

"So can I buy you a drink?" he asked.

"Sure," she replied. "I'm Laura Becker, by the way."

"Dan Miller," Dan said, shaking her hand.

She laughed. "I know who you are! After all, O-Town is my favorite group! Consider yourself lucky because I don't like other boybands!"

"Oh! I'm ... flattered! I think," Dan said. "So how old are you?" he asked.

"19," she replied.

"Something we have in common!" Dan smiled.

Laura's eyes narrowed, as if she was staring at something in confusion.

"What's wrong?" Dan asked.

"Is Jacob OK?" Laura wondered.

Dan looked over at his friend, sadly slumped at a table in the corner. "He must not be able to find this girl he's been looking for. I better go talk to him him and keep him company," Dan said regretfully.

Laura noticed his reluctance. "I understand," she said. "Here." she then scribbled her number on a napkin. "Call me sometime and we'll get together - just the two of us," she said seductively.

Dan's eyes twinkled. Oh he'd definitely be calling that fine girl! He sauntered back over to a pouting Jacob.

"Isn't this great?" Erik yelled to Sky over the loud music.

Sky's body glistened with sweat. Her and Erik had been dancing non-stop for an hour. Erik's hands rested on her hips as they swayed, grinding against one another, to the music.

"Oh yeah," Sky agreed. "But I know something that would be even better!"

"And what would that be?" Erik asked, fully knowing what she was getting at.

Sky smirked. "Us. Naked. Bed," is all she said.

Erik closed his eyes. How could he resist Sky? She was everything he had ever dreamed of, but yet somehow he always avoided the two of them getting intimate. He was afraid he would get her pregnant, just as he had done to Stacey. He couldn't bare the thought of losing Sky as well.

Erik began kissing her neck. "You taste so good," he murmered into her ear.

That sent chills down Sky's spine. "You know, I taste good other places
too," she whispered.

Erik smirked. "I'm sure you do."

"Would you like to find out for yourself?" Sky asked.

"Maybe later," Erik said mysteriously.

"Erik, what is wrong? Don't you find me sexually stimulating?" Sky pouted.

Erik laughed. "Baby, you know I do, but I just want to enjoy a night at the club."

Erik hadn't told Sky about Stacey. They were very open with their relationship, but he always kept that a secret, for fear of Sky's reaction.

Sky, not satisfied with his answer blurted out, "Are you a virgin?"

Erik looked around. "I don't think this is the place to discuss that!"

"You are!" Sky said shocked. She stopped dancing. "Why didn't you just tell me?"

"No, no, sweets!" Erik laughed. "I'm not a virgin! Far from it - I just want our first time to be really special and not rushed because I love you," he said sincerely.

Sky's eyes started to fill with tears. "Oh Erik! That's so sweet! Do you really love me?" she asked.

"Yes, I do," Erik replied.

Sky was so happy she couldn't speak. "I... I... I..." she stammered.

"Do you need me to say it again?" Erik asked, brushing her long brown curly hair, with gold streaks out of her face.

Sky nodded.

Erik gazed into her hazel eyes. "I love you Sky Lita Maria Ellis," he said.

"I love you too!" Sky replied. "Erik Michael Estrada."

Erik leaned in and kissed her passionately. A few minutes later someone smacked him in the head. "What the..?" Erik said, turning around to see Trevor's smiling face.

"You two need to get a room!" Trevor said.

"Mind if we use your room?" Sky teased.

Trevor made a disgusted face. "Don't you dare go near my room... oh my lord! I've spotted an enchantress of splendor - please excuse me!" Trevor said.

Erik & Sky laughed behind him.

Trevor strutted over to the girl he laid eyes on. "What pleasure do I owe to this viewing pleasure?"

The girl looked up and smiled, blushing slightly. "Are you referring to me?"

"Yes, I am. What a raving beauty you are," Trevor said, kissing her hand.

"I think we've got a sweet talker on our hands here!" she said giggling.

"Sweet is my middle name. Trevor Sweet Penick. That's me!" Trevor said.

The girl laughed. "I'm Laura Becker."

"Laura Winsome Becker," Trevor argued.

Laura raised an eyebrow. "You flatter me too much!"

"Not near enough," Trevor disagreed. "Mind if I flatter you tomorrow evening over dinner?"

Laura stole a quick glance at Dan, then smiled at Trevor. "I'd love to!" she replied.

Chapter 3
"Guys, I've got a date tomorrow!" Trevor boasted.

"The 'enchantress of splendor' I'm guessing?" Sky said.

Trevor nodded proudly.

"I got a girl's number. Oh she is hot!" Dan said.

Erik gave Dan a five. "The Dan Man's getting some action!" Erik said.

Dan beamed.

"What about me? All he got was a number! I have a date already!" Trevor said.

"Yes, but I live with you. All I ever hear you talk about is your best friend. This date is gonna be nothing, unless this girl is better than Brooke," Erik said.

"Yeah whatever," Trevor said.

"Oh my god! That's her!" Jacob said, interrupting them.

"Who? What?" Trevor asked, looking around.

"The girl I've been looking for!" Jacob exclaimed, pointing to a very beautiful girl.

"Damn Jake," Trevor let out a low whistle. "She IS gorgeous!"

"Who's with her?" Sky asked, referring to the two girls walking beside her. One was mixed black and white - like Trevor. The other was a petite Asian girl. It was too dark on the street to tell their exact features though.

"Probably her friends," Jacob shrugged.

"Well go talk to her," Erik urged.

"I can't! They freakin just took off in that Mitsubushi Spyder Eclipse!" Jacob wailed.

"Quick! Write down her liscence plate!" Erik joked.

"That is one nice car," Dan commented.

"That is one nice girl!" Jacob said.

"Well at least you know she's from around here," Sky said.

"Unless she's just renting a car," Trevor pointed out.

Jacob groaned. "I hope she comes back tomorrow!"

"Come on you hopeless romantic you! Let's head back to your mansion you call a home and get some sleep. We have early morning rehearsal," Trevor said.

"Yo Ash! You're back early!" Trevor said.

Ashley glanced at the clock and laughed. "It's 3 A.M!"

"I must be lonely!" Sky interrupted, singing.

Dan lightly pushed her. "Thank you Rob Thomas!" he said.

Sky smiled. "Gotta love Matchbox 20!"

"So - how'd it go?" Trevor asked.

"Pretty good," Ashley said.

"Is she a good kisser?" Erik asked. Sky nudged him. "What?!" Erik asked.

"Great kisser," Ashley said, smiling. "She's beautiful, funny..." he trailed off.

"Oh no! He trailed off and is heading for a sigh! No spark, huh?" Jacob asked.

Ashley shook his head. "Nope. I think I could definitely start to really like her after a few more dates, but I want someone who'll blow me away on our first date. Then you know it's something special," he said.

"Kinda like Sky," Erik said, putting an arm around her.

"Awww. You're so sweet!" she said.

"Not as sweet as you!" he replied kissing her.

Everyone groaned and threw pillows at the two, hitting them in the head!

"Guys, can you believe it? We leave for our first world tour in two days!" Trevor said excitedly the next day at dinner.

Everyone else began talking at once. They couldn't wait!

"Sky, are you coming on tour with us?" Dan asked.

"For the first week or two. I can't afford too much time off work," Sky replied.

"Well we're gonna have a blast!" Erik said.

"Oh yeah!" Ashley agreed.

"Hey Trevor - you better get ready for that date!" Jacob said.

"That's right!" Trevor said, jumping out of his chair.

"Who wants to go clubbing with me tonight? I gotta find my girl!" Jacob said.

"I'll go," Ashley volunteered. "Gotta look for someone who'll make my heart skip a beat!"

"I'll go too," Dan said.

The three of them left, leaving Sky and Erik alone.

"You feel like going out?" Erik asked. "I have a surprise for you!"

Stacey sat at home, staring at her blank TV screen. "This is ridiculous," she said. "There's gotta be something I can do."

She sat there and thought for a while. "Where can I meet a guy?" she wondered out loud.

She snapped her fingers as an idea came to her. "I'll go clubbing!"

Chapter 4
Stacey walked into the club. She smiled at her surroundings. It had been so long since she had gone out. 'This will be good for me,' she told herself.

She saw three very good looking guys at a nearby table. They looked so familiar, but she just couldn't place who they were. She decided to go find out.

"Hey guys, check out the hot girl coming our way!" Ashley said, nudging Dan.

They all looked at her and smiled as she sat down next to Jacob. "Hi! Mind if I sit here?" she asked.

"Well, you're kind of already sitting there so," Jacob began.

"I'm sorry! I'll leave," Stacey said getting up.

"No, please, stay," Jacob said, pulling her back down. "I was just messing with you!"

Stacey smiled. "That's a relief!"

"So what brings a beautiful girl like you to our table?" Dan asked.

"Don't be so modest! You're all very good looking!" Stacey said.

"Hey, I never said we weren't!" Dan replied, smiling.

Stacey found herself smiling again. "Well, you're not THAT good looking! You just looked so familiar, I decided to come find out who you are and where I've seen you before," she said, her bright green eyes sparkling.

The guys all introduced themselves. "And you are?" Ashley asked flirtatiously.

"Stacey Nicole James," she replied.

All three of the guys' smiles faded.

"What's wrong?" Stacey asked.

"You're Erik's ex!" Ashley exclaimed.

"You know Erik?" Stacey asked.

"He's in our singing group!" Jacob replied.

Stacey's hand flew to her mouth. "Oh!" she gasped. "You're in O-Town! No wonder you looked familiar!"

Jacob nodded. "Yeah. We became a group shortly after you two broke up, right?" he asked.

Stacey nodded. "How is Erik?" she asked.

"He's doing really great!" Ashley said.

"That's good," Stacey said. "Is he seeing someone?"

The guys nodded. "Yeah, Sky Lita Maria Ellis. You may have heard of her. She's won tons of local modeling contests," Dan said.

"Yeah, I've heard of her. She's very pretty. Well it was nice meeting you guys, but I've gotta get out of her. See ya!" Stacey said leaving quickly.

"Geez, she took off like a bat out of hell!" Ashley observed.

"I can't believe you were hitting on Erik's ex!" Dan said laughing.

"Well, Erik's definitely done good for himself in the ladies' department. First Stacey, now Sky!" Ashley said.

"Isn't Stacey the one who had the aborition?" Jacob asked.

Ashley nodded.

"Well we better not tell Erik we saw her. Not if Sky is around anyway. She doesn't know about it," Jacob said.

The other guys agreed telling Erik would have to wait until Sky left the upcoming tour.

"Hey Jacob - isn't that those two girls who were with your mystery woman last night?" Dan asked.

Jacob whirled around. "Yeah it is!" he said excitedly. "I gotta go talk to them!"

"You took me to the fair?" Sky asked Erik.

Erik nodded. "I wanted to ride the ferris wheel with you."

Sky smiled. "That's so cute! I hope we get stuck at the top!"

"Exactly how I arranged it," Erik said, giving her a soft kiss on the lips, then helped her board the ferris wheel.

They went around a few times. Pretty soon, they were the only ones left on it.

"Erik, why isn't the carnie making us get off?" Sky asked.

"I made pre-arrangements with him," Erik said, as they stopped at the top.

They looked around. They could see the ocean very faintly in the distance.

"Wow! What a great view!" Sky breathed.

"It's incredible," Erik agreed. "Look at the stars. Aren't they beautiful?"

Sky nodded. "They certainly are."

"You know what though? They're not near as beautiful as you!" Erik said.

Sky smiled. "Erik, you are the sweetest thing ever! How was I so lucky to find you?"

"Because you were supposed to. You're heaven sent!" Erik replied.

Sky's heart melted as she snuggled closer to Erik. 'I think he's the one!' she thought to herself.

"Hey Laura!" Trevor said, smiling broadly when she opened the door.

"Hi Trevor!" Laura said, shutting the door behind her. "Right on time I notice!" she said.

"Well I don't want to keep a beautiful girl waiting!" Trevor replied.

"That's right!" Laura smirked. "So where are we going?" she asked.

Trevor grinned devilishly. "Fancy some sky diving?"

Laura's eyes widened. "Are you serious?"

Trevor nodded. "I wanted to try something different!"

"Well you definitely get points for creativity,' Laura said.

"So you up for it?" Trevor asked.

Laura hesitated for a minute. "Well, this isn't the way I wanted to die, but I guess it could be fun!"

"Great!" Trevor said enthusiastically as they drove to their doom -J/K!!

When they arrived, the instructors told them exactly what they would have to do. Since they had never done this before they each had a certified sky diver strapped onto their backs. They were both quite grateful about that.

As they were approaching their jumping spot Trevor started bouncing up and down. The guys who was on Trevor's back got a little annoyed.

"You better stop Trevor! He may try to kill you while you're in the air!" Laura joked.

Trevor stopped bouncing and stood stiffly without a single movement!

They were now over their destination and they jumped out of the plane. They both screamed crazily as they flipped about.

"What a rush!" Trevor said when they landed.

"You were screaming like a girl!" Laura giggled.

Trevor smiled. "So were you!"

"At least I am a girl!" Laura replied. "I'm allowed to.

"And I'm allowed to do this," Trevor said, giving her a quick kiss.

"Oh you're allowed to do that huh?" Laura said.

"Am I?" Trevor asked, looking into her beautiful blue eyes.

"Yeah, you're allowed!" Laura replied, smiling.

"Good! Now we should probably get out of here before any other crazy sky divers like us jump on our heads!" Trevor said.

They left, getting back in Trevor's car. "The night is young. Where to now?" Laura asked.

"Wanna go dancing?" Trevor asked.

"At the club we met at?" Laura asked.

Trevor nodded.

Laura thought Dan might be there and didn't want to risk him finding out about her and Trevor before they even had gone on a date.

"Actually, that sky diving wore me out," Laura lied. "How about something a little calmer? We could rent a movie and go back to my house," she suggested.

"Sure," Trevor agreed.

Chapter 5
Jacob had approached the two girls at the club. "Hey," he said casually.

"Hi," they replied.

"I'm Jacob Underwood," he said, introducing himself.

They shook his hand. "I'm Joy Andrews," the tall mixed girl said. "And I'm Alma Lee," the petitie Asian girl said.

"Pleasure to meet you ladies. I'm looking for your friend," Jacob said.

"Oh you mean Alana?" Alma said.

Jacob nodded, praying it was the same girl. "Yes, I saw her with you two girls last night."

"Yep. Good old Alana!" Joy said.

Jacob silently praised himself for his cleverness. "So anyways," he said slyly. "I was wanting to ask Alana on a date, but I have no way of getting ahold of her. Is she gonna be here tonight by chance?"

Alma shook her head. "She's not feeling too well tonight. If you want, I'm sure when she's feeling better in a couple days she'll meet you here."

"We're leaving for our tour day after tomorrow. So tomorrow is the only free day I have, and I've been instructed to take it easy," Jacob said.

"Well, we actually have tickets to one of your shows, but they're pretty bad seats," Joy said.

"Say no more! I'll give you guys backstage passes, so you can come talk to us before the show. Alana will be there, right?" Jacob asked.

The girls nodded. They thanked Jacob after he told them what to do in order to get the backstage passes.

"I get to meet Trevor!" Joy squealed after Jacob walked away.

Trevor set the Chinese down on Laura's living room floor. They had ordered Chinese since they were quite starved after nearly killing themselves.

Laura sat down beside him after popping in the movie, "Simply Irresistable."

Trevor began feeding her the seasome chicken. Laura laughed as a little bit of the sauce got on her nose. "Trevor, I don't want to wear the food!"

"My bad. Let me get it for you!" Trevor said, as he licked it off her.

When they were done eating, Laura kept shifting around. "What do I have to do to get you still?" Trevor asked.

"Sorry!" Laura replied. "My back hurts."

"Let me fix that," Trevor said. He commanded her to lie down. He then gave her a sensual massage.

"Mmm. That felt so good! Remind me to personally thank you next time we go out," Laura said sexily.

"Why not now?" Trevor asked.

"I don't put out on the first date," Laura replied.

"Classy. I like!" Trevor said. They snuggled together to then watch the rest of the movie. They ended the date with a soft kiss and a promise to go out once he got back from the tour.

Stacey finished packing. She had decided to go visit her mother in British Columbia, Canada. After running into Erik's friends at the club, she decided she needed to get away for a little while. She didn't want to risk running into Erik. That would be too painful for her. Especially since he was happy with a new girlfriend.

She gathered her luggage and locked the door to her apartment. She then flagged a taxi to take her to the airport.

"Erik - let's take a walk on the beach. We've never done that together before," Sky pleaded, after they got off the ferris wheel.
