MAKING THE BAND SHORT BIOGRAPHY

The ABC reality series, "Making the Band," which follows the lives of the male pop band, O-Town, premiered on March 24, 2000. In its first season, viewers witnessed the emotional journeys of these talented young men as they pursued their dreams of being in a band. From the gripping cross-country talent search to the band's training and recording process to the triumph of their first public performance as a group, the cameras documented the band members' transformation from ordinary young men to rising pop stars. ABC Entertainment, MTV Productions and Trans Continental Records' Lou Pearlman -- the man behind the success of some of today's most successful recording artists, including the Backstreet Boys, 'N SYNC and LFO -- joined forces to create O-Town, the latest singing sensations to hit the music scene and primetime television.

Currently in production, the next season of "Making the Band" will chronicle the recording of the band's first album, tour and creation of their music video.

The members of O-Town are Ashley Parker Angel from Redding, California; Erik-Michael Estrada from New York City; Dan Miller from Twinsburg, Ohio; Trevor Penick from Rancho Cucamonga, California; and Jacob Underwood from San Diego, California.
