| April 13 2001, episode 1, 1 hour special This is a one hour special for the beginning of the new season. The first 30 minutes are a recap of the 22 past episodes of the past season. We see Ikaika, Paul, Jacob, Erik, Mike, Trevor, Ashley and Bryan from the beginning, to the day when finally the band is formed. After, it's finally what we've been waiting for so long! The second season premiere! First we get the chance to see the awesome new generic where the guys are totally gorgeous. Here is a resumee: Erik's dad, Reuben, left him and his mother when Erik was only one. Now that his son is becoming a popstar, he wants to talk to Erik again. Erik is troubled, he can't concentrate on the music and the others get angry at him because he don't tell them what's goin on through his mind. The group perform at Miss America but feel totally discouraged when they see how rubish it was. They realize that they have a lot of work to do. They sing Liquid Dreams a cappella at a Teen People concert and it was a hit. Now that they are getting more and more known, they have to work even hard to make it big... April 20 2001, episode 2 The show begins with an awesome performance of "Take Me Under" by O-Town in Rancho Cucamonga, Trevor's hometown.There, he saw back family and friends. We can see Trevor in love as he saw back his ex-girlfriend Kelly. While they are recording "Girl", Kelly come for a visit and Trevor struggle to find love during the short lap of time. Unfortunately, Kelly goes back and say that she'll call him. He loses all hopes but not so long after that, they talk on the phone again and finally, well, they are a couple!!! I think we never saw Trevor so happy since the day he has been accepted in the band. But things don't go so well on Jacob's side. During a photo shoot, Jacob escape because he feel this is all "fake". He records "Girl" and everybody likes it very much. But after, Mike Cronin (O-Town's manager) come to see him and wants to cut Jacob's part. Jacob starts to wonder what he is doing in a band where he's just gonna be the "back-up singer"... Poor Jacob =o( April 27th 2001, episode 3 In this episode, we have the chance to see Jacob ALL THE TIME! I think Erik said only two words but don't worry he will talk a lot in the next episode. O-Town goes to London to record All Or Nothing. Jacob still struggle to keep his parts in the songs but the record company keeps telling him to start all over or ask somebody else to record his part. He feels disconnected from the rest of the band and says that he was more happy in his garage band, Primary Focus. He says that he is singing music that he don't care about. Jacob wonders what he is doing in a band where he's the "back-up singer". While recording Love Should Be A Crime, Jacob talks to the producer and gain courage once more. He asks Mike to call Clive, the chairman of J Records. Finally, after a meeting with him, Jacob win what he wanted: sing his parts!!! All the guys are really happy of the recording of Love Should Be A Crime, they all agree that this recording was the one where they learned the most. June 8, 2001, episode 4 Erik gets more bad news about his family after the return of his father, Reuben, putting his place in the band in jeopardy. He is always thinking about his family problems and so his mind isn't really in the band right now so the guys try to figure tout what wrong with him but he wants to deal with his problems himself. Meanwhile, the guys are over the moon when �Liquid Dreams� has its radio debut. June 15, 2001. episode 5 As O-Town hits the road to drum up their debut album. Ashley and Shelli meet again but they both feel like they don't know each other anymore. Shelli has been studying far away from him so they both feel disconnected like on a first date.. Meanwhile, a hectic tour schedule takes its toll on the band mates. June 15, 2001, episode 6 Tensions run high on O-Town's promotional tour as Dan starts to feel left out by his fellow band members, who have a hard time dealing with his post-performance outburst. Meanwhile, �Liquid Dreams� hits the air and the guys await news of the single's chart position. June 22, 2001, episode 7 With the departure of Lou Pearlman and Trans Continental, O-Town is left to question their decision to sign with Actual Management. Meanwhile, with their business affairs unstable, O-Town's music mettle is put to the test when they are asked to make their first network television appearance since the disastrous Miss America performance on "Good Morning America". They should only worry about their music and performances but the business problems starts to involve them more then they thought and they rehearse not as much as they should. the "Good Morning America" is hit and their vocal coach, Doc, is really proud!! June 22, 2001, episode 8 Though loved and adored by millions of fans around the world, Trevor and Ashley experience troubles in keeping their real-life love relationships together. Janie, Shelli and Kelly pay the guys a visit. Ashley struggle to tell Shelli how much she means to him but she trun him down and Trevor lives the same with Kelly. The two of them discuss about it a long time after the girls return home. June 29, 2001, episode 9 When O-Town's whirlwind schedule starts to spin out of control, Dan's relationship with his fellow band members begins to strain under the pressure. Tensions build between him and Ashley as he critisize something Ashley did on stage. We can see Dan yell and swear for the first time. After that, they all give him a really hard time but when Dan's friends come to visit him, the other guys come to realise that maybe he is not so different from them after all. They finally understand that it's that different that makes the band complete and apologize to a sad Danny. June 29, 2001, episode 10 When O-Town's album sales begin to drop, the pressures on the road and a grueling promotional schedule drive the band to the breaking point. Meanwhile, after months of debating, Erik decides whether or not to meet his biological father in person, on an emotional episode of "Making the Band". He meet up with his father, brother and sister that he never knew and start also to comunicate with the other members about these emotions. July 6, 2001, episode 11 With a lack of financial support and not enough rehearsal time, an ill prepared O-Town hit the road for their first national concert tour. July 6, 2001, episode 12 Jacob and his best friend, Pat go onstage in San Diego to perform one of the songs they wrote together before Jake was part of O-Town. When Ashley returns to his hometown of Redding, CA, for a personal appearance, the costs of his stardom and celebrity are made all too apparent. He pay a visit to his grand-father, his father and also to Shelli. He unsderstood that it ws over between them and just wants to say goodbye to her so they can both go on with their lives. He sings to her a song and it really makes me cry everytime. July 13, 2001 (Season Finale), episode 13 As O-Town's grueling concert tour begins to take its toll on the band members, Jacob comes to blows with one of the J Records executives but it the problem was resolved as the episode goes on. Meanwhile, as the band is about to crash and burn both physically and mentally, J Records Chairman and CEO Clive Davis surprises them with an unexpected announcement...Sorry to say the scoop!! The guys perform and then Clive Davis come on stage with them and announce that the guys' album is platinium!!! Congrats!!! |
