As soon as her parents left, she was on her feet, running to her room. She picked up her bags and her cell phone before she hurried out of the house. She started running to get to the bus station while dialling her best friend�s number. Saralie:�Hello?� Amanda:�Sara! I�m on my way!� Saralie:�Okay, me too!� They hung up and Sara met her friend at the bus station some minutes after that with all her bags too. They hurried in the bus and sat down to talk. Saralie sighed. Saralie:�Am, I can�t believe we�re doing this...� Amanda:�C�mon Sara, we�ve been planning this since so many months... Are you going to turn back now?!� Saralie:�No! I�m not... It�s just that I wonder what will happen to us if we don�t make it...� Amanda:�You scared?� Saralie:�Noooo... I know everything�s gonna be alright� Amanda:�It sure will, you got you ticket?� Saralie:�Yup!� Amanda:�Guitar?� Saralie:�You betcha! I also got my Uncle�s address...� Amanda:�You betta�, you sure it�s the good one?� Saralie:�Yes Miss. Garcia, I checked just before I came here.� Amanda:�Perfect!� Saralie:�Brilliant!� They both giggled but deep inside they were really nervous. They were on their way to the airport where they would fly from their hometown, Dublin, to a whole new world: Or-lando, Florida. They have never been out of the country so they were very excited. Childhood friends, they both grew with the same passion, the same desire, the same dream... Never their parents would have accepted that the girls move to another country to pursue their musical dream but right now they didn�t have any other choice: the girls were on their way. After all, they were only 16... But they had a dream that they both believed in. It�s that hope that led them to leave everything behind and start a whole new life. They have never been what their parents wanted them to be... For Saralie�s parents, she would have a bright future ahead only if she�d study hard to become a doctor. It figures: they are both well know doctors. Instead of doing what they wished, Sara was always up in her bedroom writing melodies on her old guitar. Amanda was born in a family of seven while Saralie was an only child. It was killing her to see that her parent�s perception of life was way different then hers. While she wanted to become a songwriter or a dancer, her parents wanted her to get married very soon have four kids, a golden retriever and blah blah blah... Her own mother was pushing her to leave college to stay at home and learn to be a good wife. How pathetic! All this led the girls to plan their future together. They planned for months this trip to the United-States because they have been told that everything was possible in this country. They were still young and they HAD to live their dream...
