| THE MA FANS ARE THE BEST FANS CONTEST: CANCELLED -Summer 2002 Ok, i was doin a lil "research" on other street teams across the US! here's what I came across at the California street team: "Showin' O- Town That Cali Fans Love Them More Than Any Other State!!!" We can't let them get away with that! So this contest is out to show them that MA fans are the best fans! Heres some other US street team standings: -Cali: 129 members -Florida: 124 members -Ohio: 95 members -Pennsylvania: 312 members -New York: 136 members -Massachusetts (thats us!): 87 members So, the purpose of this contest is to recruit more members!! I do it everyday, but I need you guys to help me out!! This is just gunna be a basic inviting contest, and believe me i know how boring they are, but its the only way! So what your looking for, are otown fans from MA! You may also invite fans from nearby towns in NH, CT, etc. that attend the otown concerts here in MA! Here are a few tips on where to get email addresses: -->>The O-Town Fan Page now has a holla back section w/ email addresses of fans from different states: http://www.o-townfanpage.net/extras/hollaback.html -->> The Yahoo member directory: http://members.yahoo.com/ Suggestion: for the search enter~ o-town + MA or o-town + boston -->> MSN Member directory: http://members.msn.com/ suggestion: do an advanced search entering for nickname: otown -and then for country choose United States and for state choose MA -->>AOL Member directory...i dont have AOL anymore so i dont have a link! -->>Visit other otown groups, and look thru their member lists for ppl from MA! -->>advertise in other otown groups...this is where a rule comes in- DONT ADVERTISE IN CLUBS WHERE ITS NOT ALLOWED!! suggestion: subject line for post~ Love O-Town? Each week i will announce a new contest. Thus there will be on winner per week. This winner will get (5) points. The new sub-contest for each week will be annuonced after making the band on saturday nights! Which is located in the left hand column of the main page. The "Invite" option is located right under "Promote" Click on "Invite" and type in all the email addresses you found and send it off! That's all you gotta do!
