CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE ~ Hatred and Love

Rachel looked over to Nicole who was raging with anger and gave her a look telling her not to speak any more, but regardless of what Rachel wanted Nicole was mad and planned on showing Malia just how fiesty she could be.
"Look, Ikaika is not taking you anywhere tonight!  You aren't going to Chez L'Oceania...First because your boyfriend will be working until all hours of the night in the studio because he was inconsiderate and made everyone late for practice, and secondly because Ikaika has no money because he spends it all hogging up the damn phone talking to you all the time regardless if the others need it or not!" Nicole yelled.
"Look you little Hoe, I don't know who you think you are or what the hell your doing here, but you have nothing on me, and never will.  Atleast I have a boyfriend who is willing to take me out, you don't have anyone who will even give you the time of day!"
"Yeah you got one thing right you don't know me, but on the other hand I do have someone willing to take me out and that person is a hell of a lot better then Ikaika!"
"How much do you pay him an hour?"
"You flippin' bitch take it back, take back what you just said," Nicole lunged forward and grabbed onto Malia's hair.
"Ouch pull my hair!  Is that as nasty as you can get you little whimp?  No one loves Hoes!"
"Whoa," Jacob yelled as he walked out the door.  He went behind Nicole and grabbed her by the waist kicking and screaming as Bryan grabbed Malia and pulled her off of Nikki.  "What is going on?"
"The Hoe is mad cause no one loves her and I have Ikaika," Malia snarled still trying to get at Nicole.
"Look Malia, I don't know you that well, but you haven't made a good impression this far and as for no one loving Nicole I know atleast two people here today that do," Jacob yelled back wanting to lunge at Malia but knowing he had to contain his anger and keep Nicole out of danger.
"Make that three people," Rachel said siding with Jacob.
"Eight people," Paul said sure that he wasn't alone in saying that all the guys except Ikaika had learned to love Nicole as a friend and sister in the short time they had known her.
"Alright guys enough!" Mark yelled coming out of the building followed by Ikaika who had gone to get him.
"They are all ganging up on my Malia," Ikaika said going to his girl and taking her from Bryan's grasp.
"And that monster there was trying to hurt me," Malia played the victim and pointed towards Nicole acting sweet and innocent.
"Like hell I did," Nicole argued.
"Nic, quiet," Rach said.  "Jacob, take her around back and cool her off.  Mark I saw it all, I'll talk to you later.  The rest of you get your plates and find a place to sit!"
Jacob took Nicole by the hand and led her around to the back of the building.  He could feel her body shaking and could tell she was upset, but still all he could think about was how bad he wanted to kiss her.  "Nicole, what was going through your head out there?  Why were you and Malia fighting?"
"She said that no one loved me Jacob.  I've thought that all my life until just recently and to hear someone say that hurts.  She doesn't know me and she doesn't want to take the time to get to know me.  She's so caught up in herself I'm surprised there is enough oxygen in Orlando to keep her ego inflated!"
"Nicole, chill, I dislike her just as much as you do, but we have to learn to contain our emotions."
"That's a load of crock Jacob Underwood.  I've seen you fighting with Ikaika and you make no effort to hold back your emotions!"
"Nikki, please, for me, try to refrain from fighting with Malia.  I don't want you to get in trouble and then for the 'team' to forbid me from seeing you.  I couldn't live without seeing your beautiful smile everyday," Jacob said unaware of the feelings he was pouring out.
"Jacob, are you serious?" Nicole asked almost unable to speak.
"I don't want you to be frightened of me, but I can't hold my feelings for you back any longer.  I want to be with you Nicole and no matter what anyone says or does I won't risk loosing you.  I've come too far now to turn back without being hurt.  When I see someone like Malia or Ikaika hurting you it tears me apart inside and all that I want to do is hurt them so that they will cause you pain no longer.  I've never had these feelings for anyone in my life, nevertheless for someone I've just met.." Jacob rambled on.
"Jacob Underwood, just shut up and kiss me," Nicole urged.
Jacob pulled Nicole into him, wrapped his arms around her waist and proceeded to put his lips near hers.  The two embraced in a passionate kiss before being interrupted by Paul.
"Yikes, call the fire department!  We might need something to hose em down and seperate the suction," he yelled.
"Paul, shut up!" both Nicole and Jacob squealed.
"What's the matter?" Ashley came running thinking that something horrible had happened to his sister.
"Nothing," Paul laughed.  "Jacob just seemed to have lost something down your sisters throat," he teased.
    "Paul!" Jacob blushed.
"Don't be so vague," Ashley said sarcastically.  "Look I don't care what you two do.  My sister is old enough to make her own decisions, but you both have to eat, and the food is getting cold, so come now or don't eat."
"We'll be there in a second, Ash," Nicole replied as she tried to hide from Paul who was still looking at her and laughing.
"I get it now.  You guys staged that fight so that you could go off on your own and play tonsil hockey," Paul joked as the three started walking back towards the picnic.
"Paul, please, lets just pretend that you didn't see anything," Nicole begged hoping that he wouldn't broadcast the kiss to everyone.
"Martin, don't you mention what you saw to anyone!"
"Why?  It's not like the fact that you two are hot for each other is a big secret."
"Paul, I'm begging you to keep this quiet," Nicole pleaded.
"Guys, I'm only joking around with you.  I won't say anything to anyone, I promise."
"Thanks, man," Jacob sighed taking Nicole's hand in his as inconspicuously as he could and leading her to a seat beside his.
After dinner was over, the guys went back inside to finish their rehersals for that evening.  Nicole went with them as Jacob had invited her to watch, as did Malia upon Ikaika's request.  The two girls sat at opposite sides of the room as instructed to by Mark, and Nicole didn't take her eyes off Jacob to look at Malia, although she could feel the evil stare coming from across the room.  While the boys were in practice, Rachel led Mark down to her office where they were going to discuss the problem that had arised with Malia and how to solve the one that had gotten way out of hand with Ikaika.
