My Yahoo! profile!
Favorite types of music include Jazz, Rhythm & Blues, Funk, Old-School, and of course Rap...mainly West-Coast.

Most of my favorite songs come from between the years of 1967-1988...I am a product of the 1980s!

Some of my favorite albums...
Alexander O'Neal's debut album, "Alexander O'Neal"
Favorite singers, jazz musicians, producers and rappers:

Phyllis Hyman, Angela Bofill, Patrice Rushen, Teena Marie, Anita Baker, Mariah Carey, Cherrelle, Mary J. Blige, Kelis, Alicia Keyes, Truth Hurts, The O'Jays, Alexander O'neal, Stevie Wonder, Grover Washington, Jr., Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, The Intruders Parliament/Funkadelic, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac, Dr. Dre, The Neptunes,
Favorite cities to visit include Las Vegas, San Diego, and San Francisco; however, there is no place like
Los Angeles!
Angela Bofill: "Too Tough"
Favorite cars/trucks:

Practically any Cadillac from 1949 to the present (including the Cimmaron and Allante'!)
Toyota Echo, Camry, Corolla (specifically the 1983-1986 AE86 models; see the picture below)
Late-model Mercedes-Benz, Lexus models (and their Japanese counterparts), Scions (I want to customize the new tC), Honda Accords, Civics, and Integras (Type R models, that we don't get here in the U.S.).  I also like all Acura models (the Integra falls into this catagory with the RSX), as well as Nissan Maximas from 1987 to the present.  I cannot forget my love for Chevy's either!
Favorite sports teams:

I love all of the local teams.
Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Angels, Anaheim Mighty Ducks.  I support the Los Angeles Galaxy, Los Angeles Sparks, and Los Angeles Avengers.  Of course I am a fan of USC and UCLA.  For University of Southern California, I prefer their football team over the basketball team; with University of California- Los Angeles, it is vise-versa- basketball first, and football second.

With football, it's a different story.   Since Los Angeles doesn't have an NFL team (assholes!), I have to root for others.  For the most part, I support the Oakland Raiders and the San Francisco 49ers.  I will also root for the San Diego Chargers, but this is only until Los Angeles gets our own football team.  We in LA are not stupid; we will
not pay for a stadium that rich owners could pay for themselves.

With that in mind, my favorite stadiums I have visited are of course Staples Center and (suprise!) Angels Stadium, formally Edison Field.  Since it is a bit more modern, I chose it barely over Dodger Stadium, even though Chavez Ravine is still one of the best in Major League Baseball.  Plus, regardless of what the NFL owners say, I love The Memorial Coliseum.  Obviously, USC doesn't have a problem with it; they've played there since 1923!  I still would like to see a new football stadium here, though.
Herbie Hancock: "Maiden Voyage"
Patrice Rushen: "Now"
