This was a promo for "Bright Colors In Dirty Places" but the versions on this disc are slightly different from those found on the album. A bit of production and mastering followed it's release.
The Discs were CDR burned copies with the title written in marker, sold in paper sleeves with computer print-out covers glued to the front.
The Back read:
"This is not the album. There is an album on the way. The dollar or two which you paid for THIS cd will go toward the printing of the REAL cd.
Thank you for your support."
Which was about as far from the truth as you can get. Indeed there was an album on the way, and yes you DID pay a dollar or two, but it never went toward the printing of the real cd. It was fought over for cigarette money, food, and gas. Divided 4 ways, that averages about
$O.35 per cd, per member of the band... selling about five CDs per show.
