| Hello. My name is Lydia Hall, and I am the creator of Otherworld. I love comic books a lot, and I have a staggering collection or them. My favorites have to be The Crow, Spawn, and Sandman. I got the idea for Otherworld in my Freshman year of High School, When I started to draw Darkworld, my first attempt at comic book and repition drawing. although it is a very good story, it will never see the light of day, until i ge bored and decide to post it up on the web too. |
| Because this is a Geocities site, and Im not very good at repition drawing, i will not post the weekly issues in traditional style. I will have a weekly gallery so you can see images of the characters, but it would be to much to load if i posted the enitre thing with images. so for those of you with slow browsers, you are in luck. the issues will be in script style. Once i have enough money and enough knowledge of HTML, or know someone who knows HTML, i'll probable start my own site like www.otherworld.com or something, but until that day, im here as broke as can be on geocities. |
| WHY ONLINE? i have no money. no job. nothing but a monthly allowence from my 'rents, so i don't have the money to always go out and buy comic books. This way, I can provide comic book fanatics with free entertainment! woo-hoo! that and why would anyone want to publish my books? |
| ABOUT THE OTHERWORLD CHARACTERS: Jon is my favorite character to draw. He is just a funny character in general because he is kind of the stereotypical goth kid. what everyone thinks goths are, mopey and overdramatic. The ultimate poseur x10. There is even a line where Lola asks him if he'd like some double sided tape, so he doesn't have to keep putting his wrist to his forhead, it'll just always up be there for him. I think when I die, I'd want someone like Jon there. He's a humerous death. X is also a very intresting character. You don't know if it's a boy or girl, so it's fun to kind of draw this unisex character who is very important, but very minimal throughout the story. David is also a very good character. At first he doesn't realize that as perfection, the effect he has on peoples lives, until a girl dies for it, then he's kind of on this mission to find out why perfection kills and why he can't do the good he wants to do. Anna likes to think she's a badass, and she isn't. She is the embodiment of all evil, but she's also a very compassionate being, even though she doesn't normally show it. |
