I have to say I'm not very happy with this figure, but I just did it for a bit of fun. When I saw the costume Amy was wearing in the video to Going Under, I thought it looked pretty cool...and might make a nice figure. But having no suitable bases, I did what I often do, and made her from any old rubbish I could find.
The main body of this figure is Xena from the Hercules line, but I didn't like her arms, so I yanked some off Ally Kat, shortenned them (adding some swivel articulation too) and attached those, actually retaining the shoulder articulation there. The raggedy bits all over her costume actually come from the Crone from Sleepy Hollow...I was quite pleased with how those worked. The head is from a McDonald's Atlantis woman, with the "real" hair removed and resculpted with milliput. (Her head was held togther by a metal bolt it turned out, that was a bit of a nightmare to remove!) The rest is milliput and there you have it :) |
