Water From The Moon- Part Two

It's late. The cold winds are surrounding me yet I do not feel the coldness. Maybe because I do not
have feelings. No, what am I saying? Everyone and everything has feelings. I have yet to discover
them. What was that? A silver dart? Shit. I'm being hunted. This is going to be fun. I can sense them.
1..2...no there was 3 of them. They smell of hate. Yes, they must be the Paks. "Don't let her
get away." I heard one of the whispered. A cold smile spread across my face. I use my quick
agility to lose them. "Shit, we've lost her. Split up." I can still hear them. I snickered to myself.
They thought they can take me. Now...to take them out. I began to hunt. I quickly dashed behind one
of them...a male. I can smell the strong stench coming from him. The smell of hate..the smell of fear.
I like it. They think they're tough yet they are merely little pawns...and i'm the black queen. He
didn't even noticed me until I had my strong arms wrapped around his neck. He whimpered,"Uh, Let go
of me you demon bitch. I'll kill you." I laughed. "I think it's the other way around. It's me that
will kill you." I sneered in his face. Then I forced my fangs to come out and quickly, I began to
suck on his neck. He groaned, he struggled for freedom. He's feisty. I like. The taste of human
blood began to fill me...yet I felt like i'm doing something wrong. I'm confused...I quickly let
the hunter's body staggered to the ground with a soft thud. What's wrong with me? I looked at the
helpless body. He's alive. His breathing is steady, but he'll live. Then, another silver dart
was shot at me. I dodged it with skill, but it almost got me. I turned around to see another
hunter. He had on a long black over coat and dark shades. He looked threatening. I smiled at him to
show that i'm not afraid. He shot another dart, I dodged it again. "Ken is Oliver..." A female hunter
this time. She came up from behind. She looked directly at me with an icy stare. I smiled coldly
back at her. "Go see Oliver...make sure he's not dead." The man with the long over coat ordered.
The girl obeyed and ran to the other man that had fallen. "He's got a pulse." "Good. I'm counting
on you to bring him back to head quarters." "But Ken..." "Do as I say Fah." "Yes." The female
quickly scooped up the fallen hunter with skill then disappeared. It was just me and him. He took
off his over coat to reveal his strong built. Then he quickly ran towards me and knocked me by
surprise. I could feel my ribs cracking as I fell to the hard, cold ground. He smiled at me. "I think
you've met your match." He said. I was furious. No one's ever knocked me before. I quickly retaliated
and gave him an uppercut which sent him flying. "Uh! You bitch!" He came for me again. We fought.
His martial arts skills were spectacular. I've never seen anything like it. I was lucky to hit him
a couple of times. He managed to hit me in many places...the hit was more painful everytime. "Had
enough?" He asked with a sly grin on his face. He had me pinned to the ground. I gritted my teeth and
revealed my lusting fangs. "Your pathetic fangs don't scare me hun. I've seen plenty and i've killed
plenty of your kind." He was making me angry and he knows it. "What are you gonna do? Bite me? Pretty
sure I'll kill you before that." He took out his silver stick. "You see this? I've stabbed over hundreds
of your kind with this." He began to taunt me. He slowly put the stick close to my face and laughed.
I had had it. I gathered all my strenght left and managed to kick him in the nuts. He groaned with
pain and let go of the stick. This was my chance. I quickly got up and pinned HIM. His face showed
that he was surprise. "Well..I guess the wheels have turned now, hadn't it...hun." I snickered. I took
out my mythril dagger. "You see this? I've killed many of your kind...then sucked their blood dry..
with the help on this small...dagger." I licked the dagger then taunt him with it, like he did me.
He showed no pain. I was surprised but admired him for it. I looked into his dark brown eyes. It
showed courage and leadership. I put my cold hand on his face. He feels warm. I liked the feeling. He then
shook my hand away. I smiled at him. He gave me an evil look. "Don't get in my way again." I got
up then disappeared into the night.

I don't know why I let him go. I never let my victims go before. Yet there was something about him...
something that stopped me from hurting him. Conscience? No. None of that. All I know is that I felt
something...something different. Something that I had never felt before...
